Usually my painting process starts with a clear drawing before going into color. I like to work with a middle-tone background.
I continue selecting the local colors. I try to create some variety keeping the same tone.
I start to define the lights and shadows. The main objective here is to define the shapes and volumes.
Now is time to clean the shapes and go into details. Also I decide here wich edges are going to be harder or softer.
For the final part I blur some areas to keep the attention where I want. Also I do some color and temperature corrections.
